GIFT SHOP Dubai | 2019

LOU is a desk lamp designed exclusively for Art Jameel Shop (https://shop.artjameel.org/), the Shop of Dubai’s Museum of Contempary Art: Jameel Arts Center (https://jameelartscentre.org/)

Inspired by Dubai creek’s location, we wanted to create a piece that would resonate with the site’s unique pearl diving history. This desk lamp is delicately crafted in solid brass which is then oxidized in verdigris finish and holds a beautiful frosted glass globe reflecting a warm light on intricate tones of blues.
